We’ve struggled to find the perfect sized compact front loading bench kiln, so we’ve made our own: The Fired Up 50 is made to the same standards as our Industry range of kilns. You can even choose your colour!
The kiln is constructed of a low thermal mass insulation brick with a high grade insulation board back-up that is all enclosed within a heavy grade galvanized frame lined with marine grade sheet metal.

Kanthal or Resistohm spiral wound elements are used to heat the kiln, the elements are located in grooves within the side walls to allow uniform heat distribution throughout the chamber

Our kilns are fitted with two contactors as standard, to give extra protection against possible over-fires, although never leave a firing kiln unattended!

Note: Kilns need at least 230 volts under load (when the contactor clicks on), ideally on a dedicated circuit matching your kilns Amp rating. Sharing the circuit with other devices may trip your breaker. We are always happy to advise you or your electrician
